CoreStones are made from soapstone, nature's most efficient thermal conductor. The cylindrical shape of the stones allows them to be an extension of your hand. The broad flat surface is ideal for myofascial release and, when turned on end, CoreStones can be used as a trigger point tool. Because the surface of the stone is larger than the thumb, clients can tolerate more pressure and get a deep release of muscle tissue without pain. This 5 pc set includes: 1 - 7” stone 2 - 5” stones (one angled for specific point work) 2 - 3.5” stones The 7” stone is primarily used for the legs, hips, and shoulder rocking. It has two usable surfaces: the length of the stone is for myofascial release and compression. The end is used for pressure point release. The 5” stones are primarily used for the back, arms, legs, and psoas. It has four usable surfaces: the length is for myofascial release and compression, the flat end is for pressure point release, the rounded end is used to work around bony landmarks, and the angled end is used for muscle stripping, specific point release, working under the scapula, and reflexology.
