Although Universal Companies has evolved and grown over the years, its aim and direction have remained consistent.

1982

Universal Companies started in 1982, when Marti Morenings and her father Dr. G. H. Morenings founded Universal Esthetics – a new company that began marketing a medical therapy unit designed by Dr. Morenings.

Universal Esthetics would continue to grow and add newly trademarked esthetic products to its lineup including furniture, equipment and supplies into the mid ‘80s.

1992

In 1992, Universal Esthetics published its first catalog, making it easy for estheticians to find everything they needed in one place. The '90s brought increased demand for spa equipment and supplies, so the company responded by developing hundreds of new products.

After considerable growth, Universal Esthetics changed its name to Universal Companies, better reflecting a commitment to an entire industry of spa professionals and establishing itself as “the one-source spa solution.”

Now
